After coming to attention playing Kate, the uptight love rival of Phoebe Waller-Bridge's character in Channel 4's hilarious comedy Crashing, Louise Ford has gone on to bag another big comedy role on the same channel.

The British actress - whose other half is Rowan Atkinson, no less, who she met when the pair starred the 2013 West End production of Quartermaine's Terms - is set to play The Duchess of Cambridge in The Windsors, a tongue-in-cheek satirical soap revolving around the Royal family, with Hugh Skinner playing The Duke of Camdridge and Harry Enfield as The Prince of Wales.
